No identifying info other than the Regal brand on the headstock and 'Made in Chicago'. This is an old Regal 6-string, not resonator. From early 1997 to about mid-1998, serial numbers for guitars and basses began with “CL” and were applied as a decal to the back of the headstock. With Dobro® and Regal the placement of a particular serial number into a time period of manufacture is a function of using old catalog cuts to place the availability of a certain instrument into a time period and then checking serial numbers on these instruments as they are found.
